Richmar® TheraTouch® SW1 Portable Shockwave Device

The TheraTouch® SW1 is Richmar’s first radial pressure wave device. This device uses radial pressure waves to deliver a high energy mechanical force to the body’s tissue to treat various musculoskeletal conditions. The radial pressure waves are transmitted through an ergonomic handpiece and applicator that can effectively penetrate 35mm into the tissue. Shockwave treatment can help tissue activation, bone healing, reduce muscle aches and pains, increase blood circulation and more.

The TheraTouch® SW1 has an intuitive and simple touch screen interface. It offers a wide variety of preset protocols that were carefully programmed according to ISMST (International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment) Guidelines and clinical testing. In addition to the preset protocols, there is also a manual mode in which users can set their own parameters, choose specific applicators and save custom treatments to a favorites list. The SW1 comes equipped with everything needed to provide effective treatment; including multiple applicators that can be easily switched out depending on the needs of the patient, a sleek carrying case and a rechargeable battery with a three-hour battery life, allowing for easy portability and treatment on the go.
